Slip Stabilisation, SH30, Rotoma
A Slip on underside of SH30.The shoulder of the road was slipping down into the gully. A steel pile wall was installed with 19 x MCP multi strand ground anchors. The anchors tied the wall to the Ignimbrite under the road. The Ignimbrite was very dense, with a strength of 200+MPA. View site: Slide: 1, 2.
